Service From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt genuinely welcome by the staff. Some who are long time residents and love their "corner office" views. Food We stayed in the bar for this first time and order the ceviche, mussels, and octopus. Everything was top tier, brought out in stages so we could savor and enjoy! Views The interior is filled with spectacular art. And the outdoor views of the Sedona red Rocks will have you believing you are viewing a painting! Such a fantastic experience from start to end! I look forward to a full dining experience in the future.

Tomato gazpacho and pico sours will be on repeat this summer ! Great recommendations - go for something off the grill

Whenever we vacation in Sedona, Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill is our preferred fine dining experience. The red rock views are fabulous, the rumba music is enchanting, and the fine art decor is intriguing. And we haven't even gotten to the food! We skipped lunch so we could more fully enjoy the flavors and textures of our meal. The garden salad with roasted beats was light and refreshing. The trout with roasted mushrooms and risotto was flavored to perfection. We got our salads quickly but the lag time between our salads and entrees was longer than we would have liked. However, when the entrees arrived, they did not disappoint. Service was pretty good but our waters were empty for awhile before anyone notices

MAKE A RESERVATION This was the BEEEEST food, view and service I have experienced in a long time. The fish taco....omg, the burst of flavors are magical. The drinks are delicious and the servers are so kind and knowledgeable. They suggested dishes we may like and even took an anniversary picture for us!

Omg, this place aaa incredible, no wonder you need reservations far in advance! We were able to get in for lunch and had a great time. As you walk up there are beautiful flowers on the patio and there is a gorgeous oversized door that opens as you approach. The inside is equally tasteful and well decorated. We sat on the covered patio and the view of the mountains is gorgeous. The rest of the experience did not disappoint, the waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful with wine pairings and the food was delicious. The salad was so delicious, I love a good chop on my greens and the rest of the ingredients came together in flavor and texture. Honestly, everything we tried was great and this would be the number one spot I would recommend in Sedona! Dress code: I do want to mention that they encourage "resort wear" and say they do not allow baseball hats or sandals but they didn't seem to always enforce it.

We had a fabulous lunch at Mariposa! I highly recommend the ribeye and virgin bloody Mary. Delish! And the yucca fries, so good. Time to receive food was a bit but we didn't mind. I did see a few chefs touching their faces with their gloves on then proceeding to prepare food which was not cool germ-wise so I'd suggest management review education on not touching faces behind bars and when handling food...I see this more than I want to eating out these days in general. Didn't particularly enjoy the shrimp ceviche. Mostly just shrimp and tomato sauce. The views made up for the few less than ideal parts honestly.

Wonderful. We stayed in Sedona but couldn't get a reservation, swing back on our way from Grand Canyon a few days later and had early dinner when they opens just after 4pm. We asked to sit outside as it was great weather. Views were phenomenal. Service was attentive. Good was really great. Each course was fantastic. This very much feels like a special place for a celebration meal. Quite a splurge but worth it if you are looking for a real treat.

Not that this restaurant needs another 5-star review, but they really have it together. The dining room is a real wow and our window table was an awesome spot to celebrate a birthday. Super service from our waiter team (great recommendations, well-paced courses) and the food was worthy of all the rave reviews, from the empanadas to the filet to the cubano skirt steak. Snag a reservation well in advance as they book up early.

It dawned on me that I failed to rate this awesome spot in Sedona from a birthday dinner I enjoyed a while back. I would love to go back again, my first experience at Mariposa was delightful. We enjoyed drinks, a steak dinner, and desert. All with the red rocks of Sedona as our focal point. The Mountain View's really give the Mariposa such great ambience. I mean, it's Sedona, anywhere you look is beautiful. Service was excellent, the food was delish, and I couldn't ask for better company.
